Ciao! I am Lucia, an Italian native speaker born in Turin, Piedmont. After graduating from University of Turin in 2008 with an M.A. in German/English-Italian translation, I found my passion in teaching. I passed additionally the DITALS 2nd grade exam, a certificate qualifying me to teach Italian to Non-Native speakers. 

After gathering some experience in Rome in 2008, I pursued my career abroad first in Germany, then in the UK, in Sydney and finally in Brisbane where in 2018 I established Ciao Bella^® Italian Language School.  I have been teaching Italian to several separate classes which included a wide-range of levels (A1 to C1) to students of all ages, including children and seniors always providing the best and modern teaching methods to my students.

Fun can have one of the most positive effects on your motivation levels and the amount of knowledge you learn and retain. I teach with energy, enthusiasm and fun! My strong point is delivering entertaining classes filled with laughter, didactic games, role-plays, songs and short videos making your language journey an enjoyable experience!

All Ciao Bella^®’s classes are held in a comfortable, relaxing environment. The classroom is located in the leafy, residential suburb of Chapel Hill (Brisbane’s Western Suburbs).
